Welcome to the Emerald Coast Senior Scratch Series (ECSSS) as we enter the 2010 season!  The Emerald Coast Senor Scratch Series began in 1992 and at the time was the first men's senior amateur scratch tour in the nation.  Our membership includes some of the best senior amateurs in Florida and the Southeast US.

The goal of the ECSSS is to provide senior golfers (age 50 and over) a great competitive golf experience, on excellent courses, for a modest price.  We offer two Divisions - the Open division (age 50-59) and the Super Senior division (age 60 and up).  The ECSSS plays an average of one tournament a month on courses along the beautiful Emerald Coast - most events are within a 1-2 hour drive of the Fort Walton Beach/Destin area.  The ECSSS season typically concludes in October with the ECSSS Senior Masters Match Play Championship and a Member Appreciation event.  Season long consistency is recognized with Player of the Year awards for both the Open division and the Super Senior division based on total points accumulated in events over the year.

ECSSS membership dues will remain at $75/year with events costing an average of $105 for 2 rounds of golf (cart included). The season includes events, on some of the best venues in the southeast, ending with the Seniors Masters Match Play Championship.

Our top players represent the ECSSS in the post-season Challenge Cup (Ryder Cup style) matches against senior amateurs from Louisiana and Alabama.  In 2009, we defeated the Louisiana Senior Tour at Pensacola Country Club.
